  • Good value for the area — Many guests feel the price is fair, especially given the location in a university district, and the Value category sits at 8.6.

Worth weighing

5 to weigh
  • No pets allowed — The hotel’s policy excludes pets, so if you’re travelling with an animal, this isn’t the place.
  • Check-out is at 10:00 — A relatively early check-out time means you’ll need to plan your last morning, and late checkout isn’t guaranteed.
  • Limited dining variety nearby — While a restaurant is on site and there are spots like Fonzirelli, the immediate area is mainly a university precinct with fewer high-end dining options.
  • Some rooms have compact layouts — A few reviewers found the rooms functional but not spacious, and one noted the room was 'neat and functional' rather than generous.
  • Business district setting — The hotel sits in a commercial area, so it’s quieter and less lively at night, which might not suit travellers after a bustling atmosphere.
